College and Young Adult
The Young Adult ministry here at Aldersgate is an exciting new ministry that seeks to provide a place for both college and post-college aged young adults to connect by building relationships with one another and with God.
Being a young adult person of faith is hard, especially when religion can feel irrelevant and disconnected from questions that matter most to us. Luckily, we are not designed to figure out the faithful life on our own. Join us as we ask the hard questions, evaluate our pre-conceived notions, and figure out together what following Christ today means.
Young adults are a small but growing segment of Aldersgate’s community! We are currently meeting at 11 a.m. Sunday mornings in Fellowship Hall, and we are always looking for new and creative ways to bring ourselves together. If you are a young adult and want to connect with others your age, contact Pastor Esther to be put in touch.
Some examples of recent young adult activity include:
- participating in a small group focused on how to be better neighbors as people of faith
- attending a series of educational workshops on LGBTQ inclusion and the church
- taking a Bible study on sacred practices in ordinary life
Join us as we expand, seeking to cultivate community and grow an authentic faith together.
