Sutcliffe Scholarship

The application and criteria for the 4th Annual Sutcliffe Scholarship are available at the Welcome Booth, in the office, or by following the links provided. You can also e-mail Bill Young for information.

 

This is a $2200 scholarship to be used for the payment of tuition, fees, and/or books for the 2010-2011 academic year at any accredited Kansas university or college, or any seminary. The scholarship was initiated by Don and Carol Sutcliffe as a way to encourage Aldersgate youth to further their education. The applicant must be a member (or child of a member) in good standing at Aldersgate UMC in Wichita, Kansas. There is no mandatory GPA requirement and a youth who plans to work during college is desired.

 

If there are other individuals or families interested in establishing a scholarship at Aldersgate, please contact Eve Hill (Scholarship Committee chair person) or Bill Young (Church Administrator). This is a wonderful way to give to the youth of Aldersgate as they pursue their higher education.
